Using the IDHC’s website and any services incorporated in it implies full acceptance of the conditions that are manifested in our posted privacy policy.

Conditions of use of the website

Access to our website is free and subject to the prior reading and full unreserved acceptance of these GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE applicable at the time of access; please read these carefully. The IDHC reserves the right to temporarily suspend access to its web page in relation to the improvement, maintenance or revision of the content or for other scheduling reasons.

Data collection and consent to treat

In compliance with Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the protection of personal data, we inform you that the personal data requested in our forms or that may be provided through e-mail, is included in our personal data files, whose owner is the IDHC. Also, when a person fills any of the forms requiring personal data or sends us an email with personal data, he or she consents the IDHC to incorporate said files into our personal data files. Personal data and all data generated in connection with a users’ participation or use of the various products or services offered on this website, implies the acceptance of the conditions expressed below, unless revocable, without retroactive effect.

Also, note that all data will be treated with utmost confidentiality and in accordance with current regulation regarding the protection of personal data and that our files are legally registered in the General Registry of the Catalan Data Protection Agency.

The IDHC is not responsible for the processing of personal data from web pages that the user can access through the various links contained in our website.

This website is governed by the rules applicable exclusively to the Spanish State, to which people, both domestic and foreign, are subjected in order to use this site.

Aims of treatment

Any request of data is appropriate, relevant and necessary for the purpose for which it is collected, will never be used for a purpose other than that for which it has been assigned, and in no case is the user forcefully obliged to provide it; however, it is absolutely necessary to carry out the services we offer.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, it is considered necessary to fill in all the fields in each form, for which the user must complete the forms with true, accurate, complete and current information. The user is solely and indirectly responsible for any loss or damage, direct, incurred by the IDHC or any party by filling in forms with false, inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data.

Our website gets the user's personal data by receiving various forms and through e-mail, with the following purposes:

- Administrative management and implementation and development of all our own teaching and institutional activities in the various services available.

- Management, implementation and provision of services of the Virtual Classroom, regardless of the rules set forth herein, shall be governed by specific rules of compliance required by all members of the community. Once the user is informed and agrees to be a member of the Virtual Classroom, he or she implies that any authorized member of the virtual community can access their published data from anywhere in the world.

The IDHC reserves the right to decide on the incorporation of data to their personal files.

We reserve the right of access, rectification and deletion of personal user data.

The user has the right to access information compiled in the files of IDHC that concerns them, to correct it if it is erroneous, cancel or oppose its usage, in the terms established by law, addressing Human Rights Institute of Catalonia Av. Meridiana 32, ent. 08018 Barcelona.

So we can safely keep your personal data, we will report any changes; otherwise, there is no liability for the accuracy thereof.

We believe that if you do not cancel your personal data expressly from our files, you are still interested in being incorporated as appropriate for the purpose for which your data was obtained and for as long as the IDHC sees it fit.
